A Modern Thanksgiving at Café Whitney

At Café Whitney, Thanksgiving is more than a meal — it’s a moment. A chance to slow down, gather the people you love, and enjoy something truly special in the heart of downtown Reno.

This year, we’re celebrating the season with a three-course prix fixe menu that balances comfort and craft — each dish inspired by timeless holiday flavors and elevated with our signature Whitney Peak touch.

The Menu

Our Thanksgiving menu begins with a Butter Lettuce Salad, layered with pear, pomegranate, granola, and feta, all dressed in a cranberry vinaigrette that tastes like fall in a single bite.

For the main course, guests can choose between three chef-driven favorites:

  • Mushroom Ravioli, filled with wild mushrooms and ricotta, tossed in a light garlic-cream sauce with sage and white wine.
  • Roasted Rack of Pork, served with whole-grain mustard butter, macerated apricots, roasted marble potatoes, and green beans.
  • Or the Traditional Oven-Roasted Turkey, complete with green bean almondine, sausage and apple herbed stuffing, red potato mash, homemade gravy, and cranberry sauce.

And because no Thanksgiving is complete without dessert, you’ll finish with your choice of Pumpkin Pie topped with Chantilly cream, or a Gingerbread Cookie paired with cinnamon and brown sugar ice cream.
