There’s something about fall that slows things down — the light softens, the air shifts, and suddenly, comfort food feels right again. At Café Whitney, our new dinner menu leans into that rhythm, layering familiar warmth with bright, seasonal energy.
Chef’s fall lineup balances cozy and clean — dishes built around ingredients that taste like the season without ever feeling heavy. Think roasted squash, sage, pear, and brown butter, all woven through plates that invite you to linger just a little longer.
Starters
The Cauliflower Wings hit that sweet spot between craveable and clever — glazed in Gochujang-soy BBQ and finished with toasted sesame. Seared Tuna Tacos stay crisp and fresh with Napa cabbage slaw and ssamjang aioli. Or go classic with the Frito Misto — artichokes, calamari, and shrimp, lightly battered and golden.
Mains
The Pork Tenderloin is a standout — salted radicchio, roasted pears, and a brown butter-sage sauce that ties it all together. The Pan-Seared Salmon lands in a roasted butternut squash risotto with sautéed kale — smooth, bright, and deeply autumnal. And if you’re in the mood for something slow and rich, the Beef Short Ribs are braised to perfection in red wine and served with port-veal demi.
A Sweet Finish
Dessert keeps it classic: Caramel Pecan Brownie with gelato, Flourless Chocolate Torte, and Crème Brûlée with that perfect sugar crack. Simple, timeless, and just indulgent enough.
Dinner runs seven days a week, 4–10 PM.
Come for the food, stay for the mood — Reno’s downtown energy meets fall comfort at Café Whitney.
