We’re hosting a special commencement brunch designed for grads, families, and friends looking to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the moment together. Expect all the things Café Whitney is known for — fresh brunch favorites, handcrafted cocktails, live music, and an atmosphere that feels celebratory without being over the top.

Located inside Whitney Peak Hotel in the heart of downtown Reno, Café Whitney offers an easy gathering spot just minutes from the University of Nevada, Reno campus.

One of the highlights of the day will be our Wolf Pack-themed graduation photo wall, created specifically for commencement weekend.

Bring your caps, gowns, stoles, cords, and biggest smiles. It’s the perfect spot to capture photos before heading out to continue the celebration downtown. Whether you’re taking family portraits or snapping quick photos with friends, we wanted to create a fun backdrop worthy of the occasion.

Live Music All Afternoon

To round out the experience, we’ll have live music playing throughout brunch to create the perfect celebratory atmosphere. Nothing too formal — just good music, good food, and a great way to spend graduation day with the people who matter most.
